At Newcastle Grammar School's Park Campus, ECOTONE supported the delivery of a vibrant First Nations pavement mural as part of a broader transformation of the school.
Materials & application
Working alongside First Nations artist Saretta Fielding, ECOTONE accredited applicator John Hersee used ECOTONE Minsil to apply the intricate, multi-coloured design directly onto the school pavement — chosen for its excellent colour stability and suitability for exterior concrete. The surface was then sealed with a durable clear protective coating to preserve the artwork under heavy foot traffic.
Outcome
The mural preserves its vibrancy and integrity under daily use — a fine example of how collaboration, creativity and technical excellence come together to create something meaningful for the school community.
