Description
The massive 11-storey mural to precast was completed within Concretec’s precast factory, using long-life concrete colour coatings to achieve the stunning colour result. The project was completed on time and on budget, despite the challenges of Auckland weather, and was finished with an invisible self-cleaning coating (by Photocat NZ) to protect the mural from organic buildup and graffiti and preserve its stunning appearance. Included within the mural are a number of native New Zealand birds to find. Our team are happy with the final result and proud to have worked on this unique and visually stunning project!
From a big idea to seeing this complete on site has been a fun journey. A wonderful collaboration and we are thrilled with the outcome. This will surely be a playful addition to the building for hotel guests and locals alike. Stop by and try to find all of the hidden birds.
